The New Seven Wonders of Nature

Yehey!  The Philippines’ Palawan's Underground River made it to the provisional New Seven Wonders of Nature!  I hope that it will be part of the official list of the New Seven Wonders of Nature that will be announced on January 2012.

I was one of those who voted online for the Palawan's Underground River.

The amazing, beautiful places in the world that made it to the list based on online votes are:

1. The Amazon’s Rainforest
2. Vietnam’s Halong Bay
3. Argentina’s Iguazo Falls
4. South Korea’s Jeju Island
5. Indonesia’s Komodo Island
6. South Africa’s Table Mountain
7. Philippines’ Puerto Prinsesa’s Underground River

Congratulations to all Filipinos!  I hope this win will make the Philippines take extra care not only of the Puerto Prinsesa’s Underground River but of the environment of the whole country as well.
