Giga shampoo bar is the first ever organic product I have tried, so it's like a make or break for me; if I liked it then it will inspire me to continue going organic and if it's not then I might be hesitant to try other natural products out in the market.
As I've said, it's my first time; so as I unopened the box that holds the shampoo bar, my first question is, "How do I use it?" Will I just slide the bar over my hair or do I immerse it in a water container and allow some parts of it to melt and pour the content over my head? Ha,ha,ha, I know that's how naive I was. Hey, it's my first time right?
So, I rinse my hair with water, slide the white shampoo bar directly over my head in a combing motion several times, and then I lather my hair with a little water and then I massage my hair scalp, after which I rinsed my hair with water.
After shampooing, my hair feels really light and it smells really clean. I can't really associate the smell with anything except that it smells clean. I guess because the soap is natural , it doesn't contain those harmful chemicals responsible for giving soaps or shampoos their strong smell. My worry at first is: What would be the smell of my hair if I stay under the sun too long? will my hair smell? But I don't need to be anxious about that because at the end of the day, my hair still smells like I've stepped out of the shower.
Giga shampoo bar is sold at P75.00; although, it's a little expensive than those 45 ml liquid shampoos
commercially available, its worth it because my soap bar looks like it hasn't been used even if I've already washed my hair with it every time I take a bath.
I like the Giga shampoo bar because when you look at the product label of this soap, you'll see that it only has a few ingredients which are all natural, plus it says in the box that it does not contain SLES. SLES or SLS is the acronym for sodium lauryl sulfates, a component found in most shampoos that dry the hair and the scalp.
The Giga shampoo bar can also be used as a face and a body soap too. I haven't used it for my body yet because I use another Giga soap for my face and body.
I am a satisfied Giga shampoo bar user and I will continuously use this product. I can't wait to try the other Giga products.
