Have you tried drinking Carrot juice? I remember I have my first try of drinking this vegetable juice way back when I was in high school. My mother forced me and my siblings to take even a sip but she would have love it if we could have finish a glass instead of just a sip. But we couldn't stand the taste back then.
Fast forward to the present day, I was grocery shopping yesterday and inside the supermarket there was a booth that sells freshly squeezed or juiced vegetables - tomato, cucumber and carrots; knowing how much I've acquired the love of the taste of vegetables, having a vegetable juice might not be as bad as I envisioned before.
I had to omit the tomato juice because it might be too acidic for my stomach, cucumber is too big to try because I haven't heard of cucumber juice yet so I settled for the carrot juice.
I love carrots. I usually have a salad of carrots, cucumber and lettuce without any dressing of whatsoever every morning that goes well with my fish or chicken for breakfast. But munching a carrot is different from drinking it right? But since I was a little adventurous yesterday, I gave carrot juice a try.
The lady sliced around four big carrots and put it into a juicer. She asked if I wanted to put a little of cold water and sugar cane syrup to sweeten it a little bit and I declined the offer. It was pure carrot juice for me.
What can I say but that I actually liked it. It taste sweet and of course there's the carrot taste but all I can remember was the right sweetness of the drink.
Aside from tasting so good, my carrot juice is super healthy. My drink is equivalent to eating four whole carrots.
